A round drum, 18 inches across, stretched with goat skin on an ash wood frame. The Mermaid handle is hand-carved in alder — a Slavic figure, the Rusalka, rooted in Ukrainian folk tradition. Each handle is shaped and finished by hand; no two are the same. Comes with a carved beater.
