An oval drum — 20/16 inches — stretched with goat skin on an ash wood frame. The Bear handle is hand-carved in alder — a broad, grounded figure that balances naturally in the hand. Oval construction gives a richer, more complex voice than a round drum. Comes with a carved Bear beater.
